What is a JADU?
A Junior ADU (JADU) is a small living unit (up to 500 sq ft) created inside your existing single-family home. It must have its own entrance and an efficiency kitchen, and can share a bathroom with the main house or have its own.
JADUs are the lowest-cost path to adding a permitted unit. They’re ideal for multi-generational living, a private space for adult children, or a long-term rental that doesn’t change the look of your home.

Insulation, drywall, flooring, soundproofing between units, paint.

Inspection
City inspection and recorded deed restriction (owner-occupancy required for JADUs).
